(Brooklyn, NY) — Two NYPD detectives are behind bars for allegedly raping an 18-year-old in their police vehicle.
Eddie Martins and Richard Hall surrendered this morning to face charges.
The woman says the detectives drove her to a secluded area after arresting her in Bath Beach last month for possession of marijuana and Xanax, claiming one raped her and both forced her to perform sex acts in return for walking free. The detectives, who’ve been suspended, admit having sex with the woman but claim it was consensual. The 18-year-old is suing the NYPD and the city for 50-million-dollars.
