San Antonio Sued For Removal Of Confederate Monument

(San Antonio, TX)  —  The city of San Antonio is being sued over the recent removal of a Confederate monument from Travis Park.

The local chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy claims in a federal lawsuit that the organization did not receive due process to challenge the removal.

The suit says the city failed to hold a public discussion about the decision, damaged the monument during its removal, and has yet to disclose what’s been done with it.
