Questions Linger Following Vegas Massacre

(Las Vegas, NV) — Officials say the girlfriend of the gunman in the Las Vegas mass shooting has arrived in the U.S. from the Philippines.

When Marilou Danley arrived in Los Angeles, she was met by federal agents at the airport. Police said earlier that Danley is a person of interest in the investigation into the shooting that left at least 58 people dead and hundreds more hurt. She went to the Philippines late last month.

In the last week of September, shooter Stephen Paddock transferred $100,000 to a bank account in the Philippines. A source close to the Danley family told NBC, the money was part of a long-term plan to help Danley and her family build a home in the island nation.

At a press conference yesterday evening, Las Vegas police released body camera footage from police on the scene. Las Vegas Undersheriff Kevin McMahill says the deadly shooting only lasted between nine and eleven minutes. In that time Paddock fired a dozen or so volleys before stopping.
