(Seoul) — Defense Secretary Jim Mattis says the U.S. and South Korea have “many different military options” to deal with threats by North Korea.
Mattis spoke during a news conference today with South Korea’s President following an annual security meeting in Seoul.
He warned that North Korea’s rapidly advancing nuclear and missile programs undermines, not strengthens, its security. Tensions between North Korea and the United States have been building after a series of nuclear and missile tests by Pyongyang.
