(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth police say a series of loud explosions that shook the downtown area on Wednesday were part of a military training exercise.
The loud booms led residents to make a lot of 911 calls. The Fort Worth PD soon tweeted that the blasts were part of military training.
The city says U.S. Army Special Ops gave notice in the summertime about the upcoming training, which was originally scheduled for September but was delayed until two days ago.
