(Arlington, TX) — Police are investigating a shooting in which a father fatally shot his daughter’s boyfriend before turning the gun on himself.
It happened Friday night in a shopping plaza in the 500 block of Lincoln Square. Police say the father followed his daughter and her boyfriend to confront them, and that’s when he shot the man before running them both over in his vehicle.
The suspect later shot himself in his truck in a parking lot. The boyfriend, who is in his twenties, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman is recovering in the hospital with serious injuries.
