(Gainesville, FL) — A crowd is chanting a series of expletives at white nationalist Richard Spencer, as he attempts to deliver a speech at the University of Florida.
Spencer asked the crowd if they were “ready to talk now.” State troopers, local police and sheriff’s deputies from across the state are in Gainesville to handle any outbreaks of violence.
Governor Rick Scott has declared a State of Emergency in the county because Spencer’s speeches elsewhere have led to protests, counter protests, violence, civil unrest and numerous arrests.
