Country Artists React To Las Vegas Mass Shooting

(Las Vegas, NV) — Country artists are taking to Twitter after shots rang out at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas.

We now know that the result of that gunfire was the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. At least 50 people are dead and more than 200 others have been injured.

Jason Aldean was on stage when the shooting started. He and his crew are safe. Jake Owen, who also performed at the concert tweeted, “Praying for everyone here in Vegas. I witnessed the most unimaginable event tonight. We are okay. Others aren’t. Please pray.”

Lee Brice who performed on Friday wrote, “Hearts out to Vegas. You are all in our prayers.” Martina McBride tweeted, “We played this festival last year. Praying for everyone’s safety.” Other county artists to send messages include Lauren Alaina, Luke Combs and Chris Young.
