(Chicago, IL) — Investigators say the Las Vegas gunman may have been looking at potential targets in other major cities. Police in Chicago and Boston are confirming that Stephen Paddock searched for hotel rooms online in their cities. He also booked rooms at a Chicago hotel during last summer’s Lollapalooza music festival near Grant Park but never showed up. Senior law enforcement officials in Boston say Paddock looked into hotel rooms near Fenway Park earlier this year. Last week, Paddock booked a room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. He’s accused of opening fire on a concert crowd Sunday night killing nearly 60 people.
