(Undated) — Actor and producer Channing Tatum is backing out of a movie connected to the Weinstein Company.
The “Magic Mike” star and producing partner Reid Carolin announced in a statement Wednesday that they won’t develop a film about high school sexual abuse or anything else at The Weinstein Company.
They’re pulling out because of growing claims of sexual harassment, abuse, and rape against former studio chief Harvey Weinstein. Tatum tweeted that the women who have come forward about Weinstein are heroes to him and Carolin.
