(Riverside, CA) — A California school is locked down with a parent barricaded in a classroom.
Police say a parent is holed up in a Castle View Elementary classroom in Riverside after an altercation this morning. Witnesses say a man entered a classroom and punched a teacher, then locked himself inside with another adult.
All students are reported to be safe. The school was evacuated and one person was treated at the scene for unknown injuries, but was not hospitalized. Students were being bused to Castle View Park for pickup.
