(Austin, TX) — Governor Greg Abbott is sending tactical resources to San Antonio to help fight gangs. Abbott announced this morning he’s told DPS to send help to the Alamo City because violent crime is on the rise. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus says he’s looking forward to the help from the state, and promises to find criminals and put them “out of business.” The resources include a Trooper Strike Team, Felony Fugitive Team, and air support.
