Mark Cuban Lends Plane To Take Supplies To Puerto Rico

(Dallas, TX) — Dallas Mavericks player J.J. Barea is back in Dallas after taking supplies to victims in Puerto Rico impacted by Hurricane Maria.

The island native planned to head to Puerto Rico to help with the efforts and check on his family when team owner Mark Cuban told him to take the team plane. Barea and his friends loaded the plane with food, water, medicine and generators and took off on Monday.

They returned last night bringing back Bareas’ mother and grandmother. Barea is raising money for the efforts through his foundation’s website.
