MLB Draft Begins Today

(Secaucus, NJ)  —  Tonight is the 2017 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft from Secaucus, New Jersey.  The Astros own the 15th overall pick in the first round, while the Rangers pick 26th and 29th. Texas received the 29th pick from the Rockies as compensation for Ian Desmond’s departure in the off-season.  The draft is a three-day affair and lasts 40 rounds.
