(Washington, DC) — The White House is keeping a close eye on the latest budget dance in Congress.
The government runs out of money after December 9th without a funding extension.
It is looking like lawmakers may go for another short-term extension.
Presidential spokesman Josh Earnest said extending government funding two-to-three months at a time is not a very good approach.
He argued that the Pentagon especially needs longterm budget certainty to plan ahead properly.
