(Grand Rapids, MI) — Donald Trump is thanking the people of Michigan for helping elect him President.
At a “Thank You” rally in Grand Rapids, Trump vowed to reform the education system.
He said his plans include eliminating common core and offering more school choice for parents.
He was joined on stage by his pick for education secretary, Betsy Devos.
Trump said he’ll be announcing more cabinet appointees next week.
Michigan was one of the so-called “blue” states that went for Trump on November 8th.
He noted the Michigan Supreme Court upheld a lower court ruling to stop the recount in Michigan.

He noted the election ended three weeks ago.
Trump wished the crowd a Merry Christmas.
