(Tampa, FL) — Charlie Strong could be headed to the University of South Florida.
ESPN reports the former Texas head football coach has had preliminary talks with the Bulls about their head coaching vacancy and was scheduled to meet with university officials today.
South Florida is looking to replace Willie Taggart, who left to become the head coach at Oregon.
Strong was fired by Texas after going 5-and-7 this season.
