(DALLAS) — Former Texas Governor Rick Perry is reportedly a leading finalist for Energy Secretary in the incoming Donald Trump administration.
Bloomberg Politics is reporting the President-elect has narrowed his list to four names and Perry could be the likely choice.
The other candidates are Dallas businessman Ray Washburne and Democratic senators Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota and Joe Manchin of West Virginia.
Perry met with Trump over the weekend, while attending the Army-Navy football game in Baltimore.
