(Orlando, FL) — Doctors are urging parents to limit their children’s screen time.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends no more than an hour a day for kids ages two to five and no viewing at all for children under 18 months.
Dr. Jean Moorjani, a pediatrician in Orlando, Florida, also says it’s important for parents to set a good example for their children.
A new survey by Common Sense Media shows nearly 18-hundred parents of kids ages eight to 18 spend more than nine hours a day with TVs, computers, video games, smartphones and e-readers.
Most of the time spent is personal, rather than work-related.
