WASHINGTON — It looks like Sarah Palin might be going to Washington.
Sources close to the former Alaska governor say she’s been in touch with the Trump transition team about a role in the new administration.
A Palin adviser said she has “relayed” her offer to “continue helping the next President.”
NBC News says there’s been no confirmation of a specific position for Palin, but her son-in-law, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, posted a video on Facebook promoting Palin as an advocate for veterans.
The role of veterans affairs secretary remains unfilled.
Trump transition officials have declined to comment on what role, if any, Palin may play in the new administration.
