(OHIO) — Ohio lawmakers are clearing the way for licensed gun owners to carry concealed weapons on college campuses.
The bill passed both the state senate and house late yesterday.
The votes come less than two weeks after a man injured nearly a dozen people when he drove his car into a crowd at Ohio State University, then got out and stabbed several people before police shot and killed him.
If Governor John Kasich signs the bill into law, Ohio’s public universities would have the option of allowing concealed weapons on campuses.
