New Study Says Transgender Bathroom Bill Could Cost State Billions

(Austin, TX)  —  A new study by the Texas Association of Business says the proposed transgender bathroom bill being championed by Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick could lose the state billions of dollars.

The state’s largest business lobby says the bathroom bill would cost the Texas economy almost nine-billion dollars a year and 185-thousand jobs.

The T-A-B study says the biggest impact would on the state’s tourism and travel industry.
