(Paris) — The president of France is not running for re-election.
François Hollande shocked his country today and announced that he would not run for a second term in 2017’s presidential election.
Most polls showed Hollande would lose a number of hypothetical match-ups if he decided to run.
Under Hollande, France has suffered from some of the worst terrorists attacks ever.
