(West Haven, CT) — The Council on American-Islamic Relations says it has contacted police and the FBI after a handwritten hate letter was received by a Connecticut mosque.
The letter sent to the New Haven Islamic Center was signed “Americans for a better way” and suggests Muslims pack their bags and “get out of Dodge.”
It also claims President-elect Donald Trump will quote “cleanse America and make it shine again.”
The group says its chapters in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia and California have received similar letters.
