(Brownfield, TX)  —  West Texas authorities are looking into a fire this weekend at the Tomb of Jesus, a tourist attraction in Terry County.

Firefighters say the blaze at the privately owned replica of the tomb with a “rolled away” round stone was likely arson.

Terry County Sheriff Larry Gilbreath tells EverythingLubbock.com that someone piled cotton on top of a table inside the tomb and set it ablaze.

The Tomb of Jesus on U.S. Highway 380 near Brownfield is a popular roadside attraction.
