(Austin, TX) — The Tom Herman era of Texas Longhorn football is officially underway.
Herman was introduced at a press conference on Sunday and shared his vision for the program.
Herman was hired from the University of Houston on Saturday after guiding the Cougars to a 22-and-4 record over the past two seasons.
He previously served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Ohio State from 2012-to-2014 and was a graduate assistant at Texas in 1999 and 2000.
Herman replaces the fired Charlie Strong, who was let go on Saturday after going 16-and-21 in three seasons at the helm.
