(Undated) — The U.S. Supreme Court tomorrow will hear the case of a 57-year-old Texas death row inmate, who may or may not be mentally disabled.
Bobby Moore was sent to death row for the 1980 shotgun murder of a Houston man.
Moore’s lawyers will argue against a non-scientific test that the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals used to prove that the inmate does not have an intellectual disability.
The seven-part test was developed by a judge and based on the fictional character Lennie Smalls from John Steinbeck’s “Of Mice and Men.”
