Oklahoma Quake Felt Across North Texas

(Dallas, TX) — From Fort Worth to Dallas, Denton to Greenville and from Paris to Wichita Falls, people are reporting they felt last night’s five-point-oh earthquake in Oklahoma.

The temblor was centered about one mile east of Cushing, Oklahoma, and the town is reporting significant damage. There’s no word yet on whether oil and gas fracking had anything to do with it.

State officials have been closing wells in recent months because of links between fracking and increased seismic activities.
