H-E-B To Reopen Palmview Store Following Shooting

KTXT Texas News

(Palmview, TX)  —  A grocery store in Palmview where one person died and three others were wounded plans to reopen today.

Officials with H-E-B say they plan to have counselors available for staff members following Monday’s early morning attack that saw shots fired into an employee break room.

Police arrested Raul Lopez, charging him with one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder.

Palmview’s police chief said yesterday that Lopez was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but refused to speculate about the man’s mental health at the time of the attack.
