(Dallas, TX) — The father of a police officer killed by a sniper in downtown Dallas last summer is suing Black Lives Matter, claiming the activist group caused his son’s death.
Enrique Zamarripa is asking for damages up to 550-million dollars for the death of his son, Patrick, one of five police officers killed by Micah Johnson on July 7th.
Black Lives Matter does not have a Dallas chapter.
The march that ended in tragedy was organized by the Next Generation Action Network, a group not named in the lawsuit.
