(San Antonio, TX) — Donald Trump is praising the San Antonio Spurs organization, saying it would be “great” if the entire country were run like the NBA team.
The presidential candidate’s comments yesterday at a local fundraiser are puzzling to some.
The team has nine foreign-born players on its 2016 roster and has actively pushed back on racism against immigrants.
“The Huffington Post” calls the Spurs “a team that rejects Trumpism in every way.”
