(Houston, TX) — The former 9-1-1 operator accused of hanging up on thousands of emergency calls is due in a Houston court today.
Police say Crenshanda Williams told investigators that she frequently disconnected frantic callers because she “didn’t want to talk anymore” or didn’t have the time to listen.
Prosecutors say they have a recording of her saying “ain’t nobody got time for this” after one particular hangup. Williams is charged with interfering with emergency calls.
