(Irving, TX) — The top two teams in the Big 12 are going to face each other next year to be crowned conference champ.
Commissioner Bob Bowlsby announced the format today, saying it’s great for fans and will put the conference in a good position to be in the College Football Playoff.
It isn’t known where the title game will be held, but that’s expected to be announced in a few weeks.
The Big 12 declined to expand to at least 12 teams earlier this week.
