TX Governor Asks For Prayers Following Houston Strip Mall Shooting

(Austin, TX) — Texas Governor Greg Abbott is asking people to pray following a shooting at a Houston strip mall.
Abbott says his heart goes out to the victims and their families after this morning’s shooting, which left nine injured.
He’s also thankful for the police and first responders who took “decisive actions” in getting the situation quickly under control.
Police say the shooter was a lawyer who was having issues with his firm.
Officers shot the suspect to death.
