(Austin, TX) — Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick says the alleged murder spree by Guillermo Franco is a consequence of the federal government failing to secure the border.
Patrick is referring to the illegal immigrant arrested Tuesday night in Georgetown for alleged murders in Dallas and Cedar Hill.
Patrick noted yesterday that Franco was able to re-enter the country three times after being deported.
Immigration officials say Franco was using a false passport to gain entry.
