ITT Educational Services announced the closings today blaming the U.S. Department of Education for the decision. The company says the feds put too many regulations in place, and there’s no point in trying to stay in business.
ITT has canceled all classes and laid off around eight-thousand employees across the country. There are also ITT Technical Institutes in Waco, San Antonio, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
