(Frisco, TX) — Jason Garrett is defending Dez Bryant’s decision to miss an MRI and several team meetings.
The Cowboys coach told reporters today Bryant was worried his knee injury was very serious and just tried to avoid getting bad news on Monday and Tuesday.
Garrett says he talked to the wide receiver and made sure he knew the entire situation was handled the wrong way.
An MRI on Wednesday showed Bryant has a small break near his knee. He could miss several weeks.
