The director of “Killing Reagan” is praising Texas native Katia Lara for her work in the upcoming television movie for the National Geographic Channel.
Rod Lurie says Lara so “encompassed” the role of Jodie Foster that it was almost “frightening.” Lara plays the Oscar-winning actress in the movie about John Hinckley Jr’s attempted assassination of President Reagan.
The director says Lara is also an Apple Store genius, who fixed his iPhone during the shoot.
“Killing Reagan” airs October 16th on Nat Geo.
