(Brenham, TX)  — Blue Bell is doing another recall over Listeria concerns. Listeria is the species of pathogenic bacteria that causes the infection listeriosis. A person with listeriosis usually has fever and muscle aches, sometimes preceded by diarrhea or other gastrointestinal symptoms.

The Texas-based creamery says the voluntary recall involves chocolate chip cookie dough sent from an Iowa supplier.  The dough was sent to Blue Bell plants in Texas and Alabama.  They involve half-gallon containers of Blue Bell Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Blue Bell Cookie Two Step.  It also involves Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough pints.  Blue Bell recalled their entire product last year due to Listeria worries.
