Republicans Expected To Formally Nominate Trump Today

Donald Trump Speaks at his golf course in Scotland(Cleveland, OH) — Delegates to the Republican National Convention are expected to formally nominate Donald Trump for President today.

That will happen during the traditional roll call of the states in the convention hall in Cleveland.

The convention got off to a rough start yesterday when members of the “Never Trump” movement demanded changes in convention rules. Party officials rejected an effort to hold a state-by-state roll call vote on the rules.
