(Cleveland, OH) — The Republican National Convention opens today in Cleveland. Real estate developer Donald Trump will be formally chosen as the GOP presidential nominee. Trump’s picked Indiana Governor Mike Pence as his vice presidential running mate. Trump’s acceptance speech will mark the end of the four day convention on Thursday night. A who’s who of prominent Republicans are staying away. The list includes former Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush as well as the last two GOP presidential nominees, Mitt Romney and John McCain.
