(Cleveland, OH) — Donald Trump is now officially the Republican presidential nominee, as the GOP National Convention enters its third day.
Delegates in Cleveland formally nominated Trump in a roll call vote of the states yesterday, with the delegation from New York casting the votes that put him over the top.
Indiana Governor Mike Pence was confirmed as Trump’s vice presidential running mate. Pence will speak to the delegates tonight. The 57-year-old Pence is a former congressman who is finishing his first term as governor.
Other key speakers will include Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, Florida Senator Marco Rubio, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Donald Trump’s son Eric.
