Governor Abbott In San Antonio For Burn Treatment

(San Antonio, TX) — Texas governor Greg Abbott is in San Antonio today for burn treatment at the Brooke Army Medical Center. The “Austin American Statesman” reports the state’s chief executive was accidentally scalded by hot water on his lower legs and feet last week while on vacation in Wyoming. Abbott was said to be in a great deal of pain while speaking at Friday’s news conference on the Dallas sniper shooting. His presence at next week’s Republican National Convention is in question.
