(Cleveland, OH) — Former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is blasting the process that led to the rejection of a roll call vote on the rules at the Republican National Convention.
Cuccinelli tells MSNBC that watching what unfolded during the first day of the convention Monday afternoon was maddening. He called the actions appalling and says the RNC is tramping their own grassroots delegates.
Anti-Trump delegates wanted a roll-call vote to register opposition to the likely GOP nominee. A voice vote was called, and the chair of the convention said that in his opinion, the Trump supporters had won. That led to loud protest on the floor and many angry delegates.
