(Houston, TX) — Former St. Louis Cardinals executive Christopher Correa will be sentenced today for hacking into the Astros’ computer database. Correa is set to appear before federal judge Lynn Hughes this afternoon in Houston. He could receive more than three years in prison, according to a former federal prosecutor who spoke with the “Houston Chronicle.” Correa pleaded guilty earlier this year to stealing documents that included rankings of the Astros draft-eligible players. Correa’s former team could face MLB sanctions once his prison sentenced is announced.
