Composers for Nosferatu on for a Special Episode of Good Morning Texas Tech

Dr. Chris Smith, Professor Roger Landes and Dr. Rob Peasley were on a special episode of Good Morning Texas Tech (GMTT) this Thursday morning, April 7th, to talk about the live orchestral score for Nosferatu.

The TTU School of Music, the Vernacular Music Center, and the Roots Music Institute present F.W. Murnau’s archetypal vampire film, Nosferatu, on Friday, April 8, at 7:30pm, at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts (LHUCA).

The orchestral score for Nosferatu is composed by Dr.Roger Landes and Chris Smith and features the traditional music of the TTU Balkan Ensemble and the “symphonic folk” of the Elegant Savages Orchestra. The performance will begin at 7:30pm; running time is 92 minutes.
