Lubbock police are searching for suspects in a Tuesday morning armed robbery in central Lubbock followed by a stabbing a few blocks away.
KCBD reports a man armed with a handgun robbed the 7-Eleven at 50th and University around 2:40 a.m. and then ran north on University. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing tan coveralls, a blue hoodie and a blue bandana.
Police later responded to a stabbing just a few blocks away at a house in the 2300 block of 48th Street. Police found a victim in the home who said he was beaten and stabbed by three men at Clapp Park.
The victim was taken to UMC with moderate injuries. Police are working to find out if the robbery and stabbing are related.
