Police had to chase looters away from the scene where five people died in a fiery crash in southern Dallas County yesterday.
A big rig hauling lumber collided with a car at the I-20 interchange with I-35. The impact caused the semi’s load of lumber to spill along the side of the freeway.
Through the day, drivers stopped to help themselves to the boards until police put a stop to that.
