A long, winding police chase ended up in a loud crash at a home in southeast Arlington this morning.
Mansfield police tried to pull over a suspected drunk driver who, instead, hit the gas and led police on a chase that ended in Arlington just before 2:30 a.m. The driver smashed into some cars parked in the driveway on Timberview Lane a few blocks west of Sam Houston High School.
Police think that may have kept the suspect’s car from crashing into the house.
Not seriously hurt, the driver was arrested by Mansfield police.
