The Bulson brothers were indicted Tuesday by a Lubbock County grand jury for the March 24 fire at Texas Land & Cattle at 7202 Indiana Ave. Richard Duane Bulson, 36, and Shawn Anthony Bulson, 32, face second-degree felony counts of arson. The two brothers are accused of setting fire to the South Lubbock restaurant to hide blood evidence while burglarizing the business, according to investigators. The police warrant stated the brothers allegedly broke into the steakhouse and stole televisions and alcohol. During the getaway, Richard reportedly cut himself on broken glass and set fire to the restaurant to cover up blood evidence. According to a Lubbock Fire Rescue news release, firefighters arrived at the scene just after 5 a.m. and spent about 10 minutes to extinguish the fire. No injuries from the fire were reported.
